I have been loving the GoPro’s time lapse feature more and more and yesterday I did my first panning time lapse of where I work at YWAM Newcastle. Having it pan was a surprisingly easy and cheap feature. I had found blog after blog about how to do it using an egg timer so recently picked up an Ikea egg timer. The advantage of this egg timer from iKea is that it does not take any custom work. The flat top means you can simply attach one of the GoPro sticky mounts to the top and you are ready to go. It’s that simple. I then set the timer and turned on the GoPro’s time lapse capture. While it was just a quick project I was happy with how it turned out.

Specs:
GoPro Hero3 Black Edition
1 Frame Shot Every 2 Seconds for about 20 minutes.
Processed on GoPro’s CineForm Studio into a 30 frames per second video.
Added music on iMovie.
